The theme of the book
AUTHOR'S COMMENT ABOUT THE WORK CULMINATING IN THE BOOK
This book is my little gift unto mankind. The making of this book literally tore me apart. I had to battle with personal beliefs and the traditions that I was brought up in. It was never easy to break away from norms in the drive towards establishing ‘the truth.’ A friend who felt I was taking this search too far once told me, ‘Tunji, there is no absolute truth anywhere.’ I, however, pushed on because I begged to disagree with such notion. Did I think I find the truth? It is difficult to say and I would rather leave the answer to the readers of the book as well as posterity to be the judge. However, what I can say is that I took an unbiased review of world religion history and found it not to have been as hitherto told. In the making of Christianity and Islam, I found evidence of cover-ups and hidden past. In traditional practices, I found ancient and obsolete concept tenaciously held unto. I can only plead with the reader to read my book with an open mind. My submission is that we live in an infinite world in which human soul journey and experiences are only a fraction of a larger reality. Man must not be myopic and rigid with the current ideology. Mankind occupy an infinitesimal space compared to the total picture and wider existence. Our primary purpose on Earth mission is to know and radiate true compassion and walk in the light. But, religions have mangled the definition of love and the light has been made dim and the path crooked.
